5.0 out of 5 stars LAUGH Out Loud - Excellent Gift
My 3 year old son loves Ernie. He also has the greatest laugh in the world. So it was reasonable to assume he would love Tickle Me Ernie. Well he did and does and we all have a blast watching him tickle and tackle Ernie and laugh. He has gone into 10 minute laughing streaks and it just makes everyone else around here laugh too. It's very contagious.

He has had it for about 2 months and been pretty rough with it. There is no significant damage other than a frayed seam on one hand. Put into context that is really good considering he carries it on his tricycle (I've seen it drop out and get dragged too), up and down stairs and did I mention he likes to tackle Ernie and bear hug him while he's laughing.

We just purchased a second one as a birthday present for one of his pals. It has already met this friend's approval while visiting our house for playtime. I know this is a hit and highly recommend it for this age group.

The Tickle Me Ernie is great. It made me laugh when I opened the package. I am a dad and an uncle. It is my job to check the toys for safety and potential dangers. You know, choking, way too much lead paint, maniacal laughter that may cause light headness and possibility of passing out. I found no small pieces that could cause choking. I licked the toy a few times and tasted no lead. The only warning I can give is...Ernie's laugh is contagious, so when the little guy falls down and tries to stand and then rolls to his side and your kids start laughing, it is over! I defy you to try to keep a straight face! I was cracking up, and I was alone. I played with it so much that I had to replace the batteries before wrapping it up. The only better toy is The Tickle Me Coookie Monster. Elmo might as well retire. There are 2 new sherriffs in town!

I had been a tickle me elmo fan but decided to try this one and my baby brother loooves it. It is funny and hilarious. I think Ernie is funnier looking than Elmo so i laugh harder. But the same effect in the end. Cute and laughter contagious.

Eats batteries, and it takes 6 at a time

it has hard feet and not very cudily

this toy is pretty neat it, the only thing is that the robot sometimes does not start ot move or laugh untill you really push the tummy area. A little kid may not be able to activate the robot.
