We love the Ocean Wonders Jumperoo. We had to put a hard pillow underneath him so that our baby could enjoy it since he isn't quite tall enough to use it properly. He is 4 months old and approximately 17 lbs and 26 inches. He already figured out how to turn himself around in the 360* chair, although not perfectly. He loves the mirror on it and loves that he can bounce a little. There is a nice tray for holding a small favorite toy or a pacifier (or food, perhaps?). The chair also has a nice little shelf on it which helps to stabilize little babies in the upright position. It was easy to put together and only required a screwdriver when opening the battery compartment. It plays sound and music when it bounces. Was very well packaged. Above all else, our baby really enjoys his new Jumperoo. Side note: we try to mostly avoid batteries with our son, for various reasons--mostly due to annoyance of repetitive songs--but this is one of those toys that you don't actually need to have the batteries if you don't want them.

I did not buy this through Amazon. I actually bought one used. But let me tell you my son loves this thing. He sits in there for a half hour at a time bouncing away! The music is not super annoying. It is easy to get apart and clean. It is big but most bouncer are. We take it outside and let him sit in there to. It is very stable. I highley recomend it. My baby is 6 months old and 17 pounds.

I have to admit, I'm a little confused by all the overwhelmingly positive reviews of this jumperoo. My 6.5 month old wasn't much of a fan compared to her other activity type centers. And as a parent, I didn't see the overall value versus a simple less expensive jumper for the following reasons:
1) This one doesn't have that much really engaging activity except for the opening clam - which after a minute or so of opening and closing the clam - my little gal became bored.
2) The "music" and bubble sounds are cute for about 5 minutes before you realize you feel like you're stuck in what sounds like a continuous looped episode of Sponge Bob... I'd rather have had "music" that actually played more tunes a child or parent could sing along to later or even recited #s and/or letters, colors, etc... the sounds on this jumperoo are not only monotonous they aren't very educational - which for the price, I feel like they should be.
3) The 2 fish that hang - as a previous reviewer mentioned, I don't understand their purpose - they are too far out of reach for the child... again, for the price and purpose of an "activity type" center like this I think every component should have defined purpose to add value for the parent and the child.

As an aside, after the components were assembled, it was extremely difficult to take them off the main activity seat... my husband had to pry them off... :o( I understand their need to stay on for safety, but this seemed a bit extreme! ;-)

Overall, I suppose it's a decent jumperoo, but I think there are probably better options considering the price and the room it takes up versus the educational value. We sent this back and I do credit Amazon for a great customer satisfaction policy!

We bought the ocean wonders jumperoo for our 3 month old since her other toys were the same theme (and we loved the cradle swing) and she was showing an interest in standing up. She took to it immediately and figured out how to bounce, spin around and use the toys pretty quickly. We also have the Bright Starts Bounce-a-Bout and the Rainforest jumperoo at the grandparents'. Here are the pros and cons

Pros:

1. Unlike other exersaucers/ bouncing toys (especially the Bright Starts Bounce-a-Bout) she could actually bounce up and down. And unlike with the Baby Einstein jumper, this one allowed the perfect bounce...not too much not too little
2. The bead maze is the best toy attached to the jumperoo and is the only one she plays with. It's better than the attachments on the rainforest jumperoo
3. The colors are bright and keep baby entertained

Cons:

1. Most of the toys attached are useless. The little sea creatures attached to the control panel get smacked a lot by frustrated baby and trap her little fingers.
2. The height adjustment is strange. When we introduced her to the jumperoo she was at the lowest height and a month later we felt like we had to raise it since she had grown 2 inches and her knees and feet were bent a lot. However, she could barely touch the ground at the 2nd level. She couldn't use the jumperoo for 3 weeks.
3. While in the beginning she'd stay in for about 20 min each day while I showered we can't put her in the jumperoo for more than 3-8 minutes at a time now. She gets frustrated quickly and tries to push herself out. She tried to walk forward and almost tipped the structure over.

Don't make the mistake of buying a jumper from anyone else. Fisher price no matter what the theme, makes the best jumpers out there. The quality is better all the way around. Aside from the obvious it's the stuff your baby can't see that is more important. The seat is deeper which means that it holds your baby with more support. The back rest is higher to support the back and neck. The seat has more padding which provides more comfort as your baby is jumping like a little rabbit gone wild. Fisher price has put all that attention just on the seat, the rest of the jumper is just magic when you see your baby smile, laugh, and jump. A friend of mine was trying to decide what jumper to buy her baby so I had her test out my son's jumper and in less than 20 min's. Her daughter had figured out how to jump just as high as my son does. I attribute the ease of use to the fact that the springs that provide the up and down jump motion are made so well it almost jumps your baby for you. The springs are not too tight that your baby has to almost force a jump, these springs are solid enough to handle even the most intense jumping baby but they provide a smooth jump, the spring does not allow for the baby to be jerked around. All around wether you buy this model or the rainforest theme which my other son had when he was a baby, I'm sure your child will love their Jumperoo.
