4.0 out of 5 stars COOL KITCHEN!
WE bought this for our daughter's 2nd birthday and she loves it. Put it together before hand because it has lots of screws. The accessories are great and good quality. Not flimsy and cheap like some pplay food. The phones rings and Barbie talks and helps cook. We love it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not the best kitchen
I bought this toy for my almost 4-year old and 2-year old daughters. They wanted it so bad for Christmas, but hasn't been played with very much. It has a lot of screws and took a long time to put together...some of the screws were very difficult to get in, both because of tightness and because you can't manuever your hand and screwdriver around the toy itself. Once it was...

4.0 out of 5 stars Brittney loves her Barbie kitchen!!!!!!!!!, January 21, 2005

This was one of my almost 3 daughters christmas gifts. It took awhile to put together, I had a rough time with one screw because it was very difficult to maneuver the screwdrive in that particular part, otherwise it went smoothly. My daughter loves the fact that "Barbie just calls her out of the blue", she plays with it and sits down for a snack or something and all of a sudden it is Barbie on the phone. She just had her birthday and it was fun for her to hear Barbie "telling her how much she likes birthday parties. Santa had his heart set on the disney kitchen, but is was out of stock, but we are pretty satisfied with his choice and most of all so is Brittney.

Once it was all together, it looked great, but the refrigerator doesn't exactly close right. Also, the sink comes out because it is not screwed down and doesn't snap in. I'm also just waiting for it to fall over, because it isn't very heavy, and I've seen it tip several times while my girls played with it. The food pieces are very sturdy plastic, but there aren't enough pieces. I think we'll end up using food from other toys that we have, just so there's enough to go around! There are only 2 plates and 2 cups, along with 2 sets of forks and spoons. Once my 3rd daughter grows up, I'm afraid she'll be left out!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best Kitchen, December 9, 2004

I got this kitchen for my 3 year old daughter for Christmas. I have already put it together. I know she is going to love it on christmas Day. It was not that hard to put together, but it does have lots of screws. It would be best to have an electric screw driver. On one part there is not that much room for you to screw in the screws for your hand to turn the screw driver. It actually took me about 15 min or more to do those screws. I can't wait until Christmas day to play with this with my daughter. It is very sturdy. And it looks great.

My daughter absolutely loves it! I am disappointed though. The fridge door doesnt close right and all the other doors come off on a regular basis! It is very light and not exactly sturdy. For the money, I think it should have been a little better. It took a very long time to put together and the screws were virtually impossible to get in. The sink doesnt attach to it and the untensils do not hang on the hooks very well. My daughters absolutely LOVE it though so I am happy for that. I am just sick and tired of having to put the doors back on ALL THE TIME!

5.0 out of 5 stars Gracie loves it!, January 23, 2005

my almost 4 year old daughter Gracie, just received the kitchen last week and absolutely loves it. My husband assembled it, he said the instructions were very easy and clear. the only problem is that in the packaging of the item, a small plastic piece was broken off, the piece that makes the oven door click shut. Now that the item is out of stock, we have to wait to have the kitchen replaced with a new one in perfect condition. Gracie is unaffected by this though, she loves it, loves all the accessories. It's really a cute, big-girl kitchen for any Barbie fan.

3.0 out of 5 stars OK toy, but not very durable, December 1, 2005

I bought this toy for my girls last year for christmas and was very disappointed. It is very flimsy and was even as I put it together. The door for the refrigerator never stayed shut. Not very good quality. The talking feture was the best part, but didn't make up for the fact that it just looked cheap. I bought a wooden set this year and am much more satisfied, your better off with wooden or little tykes/fisher price.

Doors don't stay on. Barbie's voice can get very annoying. I like the music, but I had to turn off the voice/music function because it's very obnoxious.
Just the right size for a space in our living room. Storage place for some food and dishes, but not a lot.
