5.0 out of 5 stars very cute and educational, September 1, 2004
This review is from: Fisher-Price: Toby the Totbot (Toy)
I bought this for my son's first birthday and he loves it. It sings 3 songs, does the numbers, letters, shapes, and makes these little robot noises between each. The toy is holding up pretty great considering the amount of abuse it had in only a week. My son tries to play with him while he moves, and he also banged it into the floor a couple times. A few times I thought he was going to break it, but it is still in great condition. It is easy for him to play with. Also on the bottom there is a button so if toby is lying down, he won't move, but if he is standing he will move. I personally think that this toy is better than leap frog brand toys.

5.0 out of 5 stars A great way to learn!, June 25, 2004

This toy is great! My son, Drew, loves playing with it. He gets so excited everytime he pushes one of the buttons & another letter, number, shape, or song is said or sang (also, appears on the screen). Drew is learning the basics really well with this toy. I recommend this to anyone since it teaches in such a fun way!

5.0 out of 5 stars "So cute"..., January 8, 2005
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Fisher-Price: Toby the Totbot (Toy)
"So cute"... and that's a direct quote from my 2 year old daughter, Alexis. She loves to play with Toby. However, he was bought for our 11 month old son. And while our son likes to play with him too (really just likes to watch the screen with the 'lights' and enjoys dancing while he sings) - he doesn't like Toby as much as his big sister does! Actually, my sons favorite thing to do while playing with Toby is to turn the red antenna on his head round in circles while it makes a clicking noise! LOL! Go figure...

I am happy to have finally found a toy that will sing the ENTIRE "ABC" song! Most 'educational' toys that we have around our house, for WHATEVER reason, stop at "G" or "H"! What's the point of that?

Toby is a great "toy" to buy to teach your children how to count, how to say their abc's and to teach them basic shapes.
