I bought two of these for my boys to use for a camping trip (just in case it rained).. unfortunately, the left-handed child had issues because the pen is tied to the right side. usually you can flip the board over and continue to use it but upside down, the pen hardly reaches the board. Just a heads up for those with lefties!

Got this for my 16 month old son for Christmas because he loves to color. It is a nice alternative to possibly messy crayons, markers, pencils, or pens. One main reason I got this one was because of the light. It's great for car rides! It's really easy for my son to use too. Sometimes they are difficult to erase but he can do it with ease. He can also turn on the light with no problem. I also like the feature that turns off the light automatically after 3 minutes. Overall, really like the product. My son has used it every day since Christmas. The only reason I gave it a one-star for educational is that we really don't use it much for that purpose at this point. I'll use it to write words and draw pictures of things to teach him, but that's about it right now. I'm sure later on it will be nice for him to practice writing his letters/words.

We have four boys and they all like to draw on doodle pads and we have gone through four of them but this one has lasted for a whole year and is still in good shape even though it belongs to a just three year old active boy! It is awesome for trips because if he is awake in the car he can entertain himself and is not bugging anybody else. the batteries last pretty long too and are screwed in instead of a pop out cover so banging it around is not an issue.

I love the built in light and the built in handle on the side makes it easy for your toddler to hold on while the car is moving!

The slate was very well thought that light was not working but only that he lacked the batteries but this very well the board and the light is very good

It would be fine if it did not have a black spot that would not go away! For the price it should not have had anything wrong with it!

travel doodler
Bought this for the grandkids and they love it. They keep it in the car and use it all the time. Helps to entertain them when they are traveling.
