This is a great book- lots of bright, colorful, close-up pictures of the toys and dolls along with their values (values seem to run pretty true). The older items (pre-60's) is included as a value guide- but not many pictures. Fabulous for the FisherPrice doll collectors and Little People collectors. Also covers puzzles, pre-school toys and adventure people- it has everything!

Brand new (copywright Year 2,000) 240 page book loaded with more than 500 full color, sharp, large photos of toys from 1964 and later. There is an introduction and history of the collectible and chapters on ToyFest Memorabilia, Happy Meal Toys, Whoops and Bits & Pieces, Zoo Series, Figures and Farm Animals and much more. Any collector will be delighted with the photos. They're almost like looking at the real toys. The book is well indexed with current prices. A delight to look at and own !

As, An avid Collector of Fisher-Price and Other Toys, I prefer Toy Guides that have bright colorful pictures, accurate descriptions of what originally came with the toys or sets, and a value guide that lists the information on the same page as the toy...so you don't have to flip back and forth between pages to figure it out. I also like it to be easy to use as a reference book so I can locate a toy quickly...This book by Brad Cassity & Gary Combs has it all. It is filled with information on the History of Fisher-Price and beautiful color pictures of Fisher Price Toys and Playsets. It also contains the toy numbers and approximate value at time of printing-(in the introduction it tells how the value is determined and there is a current value with EACH toy description). I also enjoyed the extra bits of information about some of the artists for the lithos and toy designs. Truly The Best I have in my collection Of over 30 Toy Guides-this is the one I turn to most often!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it!!:-)

This book is so wonderful! The pictures are amazing! I would highly recommend it! As a collector of Fisher Price Little People, I definitely enjoy this book! I also found things that I remembered having when I was a child! A must have!

Lots of great pictures of the newer stuff (1964 and on), but only a list in the back of the great old stuff with no pictures. Not recommended for the serious collector who likes the wonderful old wood toys and needs/wants a pictoral reference.

this book is a real treasure. I've just begun collecting Fisher Price toys the pictures and info are of great help. Friends/family who look thru this book also get a lot of pleasure from it and will reflect back over what toys they had as kids etc...I'm real happy I made the purchase.

This book is terrific! Tons of color, detailed pictures. I am a collector, and use this book to help identify which tiny accessories I need to find or identify. Invaluable! The focus is on toys from 1964-1990 ONLY, so if you collect from other periods this isn't the book you need. If you collect Little People (pre-1988), you need this book! I hope the authors will update it, with the "new" Little People included in a future edition.

I love this book. IT is a MUST for any new and seasoned Fisher Price Collector, especially those who collect Little People. The Pictures are great and the descriptions are excellent. I love this book, and my kids enjoy looking through it as well. It brought back so many memories from toys in my past, and ensures I know what I am getting myself into if I decide to make a purchase as a collector.

This is a wonderful book! I loved the vivid pictures and descriptions of the playsets. If you love and collect Fisher Price, this book is for you!!

This is one of the best books for little people and other FP toys. Also a great wish book. One of the best for identifying your toys. I would recommend it highly!
