We bought the Jumperoo after we had to return the Graco Jump 'N Jive. We have an old house, and the Jive clasp wouldn't fit around our 6.5" tall, 7.5" thick doorway trim. The Jumperoo is a good compromise between the larger floor-supported jumpers and the smaller doorway jumpers.

Pros:
1) Smaller size than many floor-supported jumpers. When unfolded it measures roughly 31"w 32"h 36"d.
2) Folds up and can easily be carried through a doorway and leaned against a wall for temporary storage. When folded, the depth decreases from 36" to 15". The seat unit extends beyond this a bit. How much depends on the angle of the lean.
3) Supports are hollow metal that are lightweight, strong, and appear to occupy less space because of simple, minimal design.
4) Can turn sound on or off.
5) Attached toys seem fun and interesting to our 5-month-old.
6) Stays in place when in use; does not migrate along wood floors like swings do (though our daughter is only 12 lbs and isn't jumping much yet).
7) Seat height is adjustable.

Cons:
1) Seat unit size is big--and stays big when folded--because of the plastic tray.

My son Michael was almost 5 months when I got this. He had so much energy and not a good way to get it out.

He loves his jumper. He especially loves it when people jump with him.

I highly recommend this jumper to anyone with an energetic little one that needs an outlet for excess energy.

It is simple and entertaining.

It is not hard to put together.

I looked everywhere for a jumper that did not have a ton of stuff on it, so I was very excited when I found this one. However, this jumper is not for tall babies. Our 5 month old daughter is 26 inches long. We had this on the highest setting and her feet were still flat on the floor. We had to put a blanket in the seat and then put the legs up on books. I decided I was not comfortable with all that so I ordered another jumper. This jumper is sturdy and cute, but is for short babies.

At three months our son loved to stand (with help) and we wanted to be able to give him something to do other than sit in his bouncy seat and develop flat spots on his head. I immediately thought of a Johnny-Jump-Up. However, our house is small and we don't have any doorways that would be convenient or safe to put one in. So we knew we'd have to go with a stand-alone Jumperoo. We narrowed our choices down to this Jumperoo, and the Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo. We both decided on this one and are very glad we did. We wanted something simple. All the rest of the Jumperoos just seemed so "noisy" with all those extra toys and gadgets surrounding the infant. We just want a jumper, thanks! Our son loves to be able to watch what it going on around him and dislikes all the extra "frills" - he actually gets upset when we put him in the Rainforest Bouncy Seat with the waterfall arch on it. He's much happier with it off. So, I was very pleased to discover, as I was setting this up, that I didn't have to put the toy in the front tray. The other two toys (the rattle and the frog paddle) come attached to the tray already. Sometimes I wish I could detach the rattle somehow so that it wouldn't make noise if we needed it to be quite... but it's tolerable.

Our son loves his Jumperoo. He's actually bouncing away in it right now quite happily. He loves it so much that if we're holding him on our lap in a standing position he actually starts jumping like he's in the Jumperoo. He is a little small for the seat still (14.5 lbs), and the seat is not cushioned. We actually put a blanket over the back of the seat for extra padding and put a small rolled up towel around his waist to keep him steady until he gets bigger.

So if you just want a Jumperoo for your child, but don't want all the frilly, distracting, overstimulating toys, get this one.

Love it. I wanted this particular style of jumper so that my granddaughter could jump backward and forward instead of being stuck in a confined jumping space. My grandson already has one, and he just goes wild in his. Most of the other brands and styles have lots of toys to reach and play with, which is fine, but they have a 3rd support bar that blocks the child from getting much jumping done other than in a small circle.

Not amazing, but no problems! I would definitely buy this product again but you should know that as far as jumpers go, it's not super amazing. A friend has a more elaborate jumper with loads of more toys and maybe that is a better choice. This product does jump well however and our son likes being in it for about 15 minutes at a time. Easy to assemble and the toys attached are fine, nothing to write home about but they keep him nominally entertained. For the price, it's a good buy.

This jumperoo provides the perfect entertainment for your active baby. My grandson loves this jumperoo that allows him to experience some quality exercise. Lots of smiles emerge during each use. This jumperoo is a spacesaver, as it folds up nicely when not in use.

This is my second time around- with having a baby. My first partner and I adopted twice in one year (5/10/04 & 5/11/05) and each baby came home from Guatemala at 2.5 months of age. I had my hands full with my first, and he LOVED the jumperoo so much that I could clean, cook, run to the bathroom etc... It was a lifesaver, and kept him entertained for hours. THEN, we brought home our daughter, and I was running all the time. My son had grown to big for the jumperoo by this time, so she played in it... Same deal, she loved it just as much.
Now, 8 years later, I am expecting in April '13, and this particular time we are going to be bringing home a newborn, but, I wanted to find a jumperoo asap bc they seem to be hard to find.... If you look at the structure of this jumperoo, and compare it to the others advertized, you will notice this one is suspended on two sides, allowing your baby to not only go up and down but back and forth. The other stile has three connections, only allowing you baby to jump up and down.... My kids liked doing that- Jumping Up and Down, but the bouncing front to back was their favorite- and this is not possible on the three tiered jumperoos.
I had the HARDEST TIME finding this item, it took me several months to be honest, I no longer had my old one, and wen I went to purchase this one.... it was sold out/out of stock everywhere.... Ultimately, I located the same exact item, with a different print on the seat/and instead of blue bars, they are light brown. I got my first one at Amazon, however sold out! I found one finally at Walmart.com- in the other shade, but, still the same!
Father of two, stay at home dad that was so Earthy/Crunchy.... I even made all of my babies food by hand (Super Baby Food*... and it does work!) Additionally I was taking classes toward my Doctorate and worked as an RN 2 shifts here and there in the week. I still say I was stay at home, because the shifts where generally on my ex's night off and I would work 3-11/11-7 and stay awake all day. I was gone while they slept only.
Start looking around now, because I think they are no longer going to be manufactured, I cant see any other reason why they are so hard to locate? I hope im wrong....
THIS IS AN AMAZING ITEM, I RECOMMEND IT TO EVERYONE WHO WILL ACQUIRE A BABY THROUGH BIRTH, ADOPTION, IMMACULATE CONCEPTION, SPONTANEOUS ENTRY, HANDED OUT AT THE MALL..... AND, THIS MAKES AN EXCELLENT GIFT FOR PEOPLE YOU MIGHT KNOW IN SITUATIONS LIKE I STATED!
500 STARS!

My little boy loves this. He stays entertained in it far longer than in a swing or bouncy seat. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because there's a little plastic frog that he can reach and munch on and the edges around it stick out. It seems like if he jumps while munching down on it, it could hurt him a little. That hasn't happened yet, it's just a possibility I could imagine.

Loved the idea. Only complant is that my grandson, who is now five months old, is too tall for the jumper. it is already at the highest setting. We really didn't get alot of use out of it. We recently purchased a walker for him.
