1.0 out of 5 stars The manufacturers and I need to talk......
I bought this for my twins when they turned 6 months old. They are now 8 months old and I finally opened it. I was very upset by it. The holes in the top where you put the shapes are defective! The triangle one works but the circle says "square" and the square says "circle"!

My father gave this to my son for his first birthday this fall. I wasn't sure what he would think of it,but it looked cute. Well, no sooner did I pop the batteries in and turn it on, my son used it to stand himself up and when I pushed the musical note, he was thrilled! The lights twinkle and music is just right for entertaining him without being too loud or irritating to those around him. He loves how Piglet can play "Peek-a-boo" and though he doesn't use the shape blocks, he has had fun figuring out what else fits down the chute in the tree top; especially his big brother's Hot Wheels cars.
It's a very sturdy toy. My son weighs about 24lbs and at one point when our backs were turned for just a minute, we saw that he climbed on top of the toy and was standing on it!! He was holding onto a piece of furniture and of course while we were stunned and laughing at our little monkey, we couldn't believe that the toy could tolerate his weight.
My father isn't too experienced with buying toys, but this was an excellent choice. Even my cats and dog like nudging Eyeore's rattling ball with their noses.
I can't speak to price because it was a gift, but from what I've read, I don't think it's much more than average.
I definately recommend this toy for young toddlers.

I bought this for my 9 month old son and he loves it. He is just turning 1 year old and he still loves it. He likes to pull up on it and play with the toys on top of the tree. He also plays the music constantly. I would highly recommend this toy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bought for Joshwa, July 20, 2004
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Fisher-Price Winnie the Pooh 1,2,3 Exploring Tree (Toy)
I convinced Daddy to buy this for Joshwa when he was about 5 months old and he went right for the Eeyore and the Tigger on the bottom of the tree. Now, Joshwa is sitting up and reaching the items on the top of the tree and talking to it and pushing the purple musical note to play the music. This toy occupied him for about a half an hour at a time. He yells and babbles to it and the music isn't too loud that it becomes annoying. Joshwa can just reach the Piglet Peek-A-Boo and pushes down the Piglets to make it say Peek-A-Boo and laughs at it. My 20month old Nephew also plays with this and the three shapes on the top and it tells him what shape he put in the correct place and puts them down the shoot. This toy is a great addition and it will last because there are activities for their growing. W

Santa brought this toy to my 6 month old daughter and she loved it. Very cute in Christmas pictures seeing her sitting up and batting at the Tigger or chewing on the shapes: circle, square and triangle. The music it plays is adorable and my 2 year old plays with the shapes that he can drop through a musical chute running down the center of the toy.I have bought this toy for 2 friends that have 4 month olds. Everyone seems to love it.Definately 5 stars for fun and educational value.

My sister got this for my 9 month old son for Christmas. When she told me what she got, I looked it up and thought it was kinda cute, but nothing I would have picked. This is the best toy ever. He could have cared less of any other present and still thinks that way. He plays with it all the time! Everytime he presses something that lights up and music plays, he looks at us and smiles like he really accomplished something.

I gave this to my 8 month old for Christmas and this is his favorite! He was so eager to see what was going on at the top with the music playing and stood up holding onto the top of it! He now has figured out how to stand up holding everything! He loves putting the shapes in the hole and watching them come out; which he then eats and puts them down again. When Pooh is touched or one of the other gadgets is pressed or turned he loves hearing the music and seeing the lights! This tree keeps him occupied for an hour at a time!

I highly recommend this product. My daughter received this as a gift when she was 6 months old. She is now turning 1 year old and she still plays with this toy almost daily. My nieces and nephews all love it. It keeps them busy on the bottom when they can't stand, aids them in standing when they are first learning. Now she is walking and still enjoys playing with it. It has several things to keep her busy, spinning, playing peekaboo with piglet, making the birds chirp, putting the square in the correct place or down the chute and much more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent toy!, May 11, 2004

My youngest niece and nephew were born in May and July of '03. So for Christmas '03 I got them each one of these trees. They both absolutely love it and still play with it now. They love the songs and all the sounds it makes, especially the peek-a-boo Piglet. And all of the sounds are adult-friendly too... not too loud or too long. (It's not one of those loud toys that never shuts up.)

This toy has been especially great as they learn to pull themselves up and stand. I think it's a great motivator to do those things too... they want to get to all of the fun stuff to play with on top.

Both of the toys I bought work perfectly and they have held up very well. My niece has a 3 yr old brother and my nephew has an 8 yr old sister and they all play with them. Also, my nephew's toy resides in his mom's daycare playroom, so all of the daycare kids play with it daily. These toys have taken a beating and still work and look great!

If you are looking for a great toy for a 6-12 month old, I highly recommend this one!

She wouls dance and get so excited with the music button, over and over and over again! Still has never gotten sick of this one!
A great buy and very entertaining for her from 5 months and up! It was a great buy and I think she got alot out of it when she was just beginning to stand and enjoy things! I have recommened this toy to every new mom I know!

I bought this toy for my 11 month old and she absolutely loves it. She loves to play with the shapes and put them in their spot. She hits the music button constantly and the music is not annoying at all. She actually learned with this toy to lift the little door and put a shape in and then shut the door. Once she learned that the shape was inside, she would put it in and take it back out. She did this for hours!
This toy is great fun and I would recommend it to everyone. It is a little expensive but it was really worth purchasing.
