I bought this toy for my six week old baby. She's too little to really care about toys, but she loves to look at the colorful blinking lights and seems to enjoy the music. She lays on her tummy and spends good 10-15 minutes being entertained with this toy. I think that it's quite a miracle that anything can hold her attention that long. Pretty soon, she'll start enjoying the mirror too. I like that this toy uses normal batteries, as I found out that lots of toys use of this type use non-replacable batteries.

I bought this toy when my daughter was only 3 1/2 months old. I was looking for toys to encourage her during her tummy-time. All I could found were those expensive playmats. This was the only toy that I found that were developed for tummy-time.Thus, was one of the first toy that I bought for her and she would played with it for hours all by herself on her tummy. She is now 6 months old and starting to crawl, she still enjoy playing with it very much.

I just bought this Ocean Wonders Wedge Mirror for my 2 mos old daughter. I was having trouble keeping her on her tummy more than five minutes. I have a boppy with toys attached & noticed to loves mirrors. While shopping one day I discovered this toy & showed it to her in the store. She instantly smiled at herself. I now can get her to lay on her tummy approx 15-20 minutes with this toy. She loves the lights, music, & looking at herself. I love the ease of turning on the music. Most toys are impossible for infants to activate. This toy she can touch & the music plays. She smiles & laughs when she is using this toy. I would recommend this as a must have.

My 3 month old son loves to smile and laugh at himself in the mirror. I am a little disappointed in the way it attaches to the crib. He can't see himself while lying in the crib because the mirror angle goes upward. I is perfect for "tummy time" though.

We put this on the floor for our grandson to entice him into crawling. He responded to the "baby" in the toy and when he touched the "fish" he liked the different noises that it made. His favorite dangly object was the crinkle starfish, the next was the chew toy crab and the clam he has just started holding...it doesn't work well with small hands. He liked the sound it made, but hasn't figured out how to make it do its noise.

We introduced this toy to our baby at 3 months to help with tummy time. He loved the flashing lights and the music and it kept him interested more than any other tummy toy we had! As he got older, he's a little over 5 months now, he started figuring out how to make the music and lights go and he spends all kinds of time playing with it. If it's on a blanket near him, he rolls to get it. He likes to chew on the dangly things and loves to look at himself in the mirror. My only complaint is that, when he didn't know how to make the lights and music go on his own, I had to hit it repeatedly to keep it going. There is no "on" mode that will get it to go on its own. Small problem for an otherwise perfect tummy toy.

A good toy in theory but...,

My little guy doesn't entertain very easy (he mostly responds to toys with sound and the color red, go figure) but I thought this with the combination of sounds, lights and dangly toys would be perfect to keep him entertained in the crib and maybe encourage him to to do stay a little longer on his tummy. But unfortunately, at three months (and now at over 4 months) he didn't care much for this. I wouldn't necessarily blame the toy for this because I think it's a decent toy which is very motion sensitive (even the slightest vibrations of us walking sets it off) and very vibrant with a glass mirror which shows a true reflection (not the distorted kind, like in plastic mirrors). On the flip side, I think it should have had more variety of sounds with lights that coordinated with the sound (they just flash at random) to make it more interesting. And the "noises" in the dangly toys, like the squeaking and rustling are something meant for older babies (above 5 months, who have more control to press and squeeze) but utterly useless for younger ones (unless you're right down there with your baby). All in all, it's an alright toy, but my baby probably needs something more engaging. By the way, I got this for 20 dollars at Toys R Us, it's being sold for 10 dollars more here.

My son (3 months) just recently started getting into toys. He loves looking at himself in the mirror. We use it for encourage tummy time so he can stare at himself on his tummy, or for back time we tie it up to his play gym so he can stare at himself. If he kicks at the toys the fish will alternate playing a short little tune or making a water splash noise. He also just now started grabbing at his toys and loves the crabby teether. My one wish is that it would play the music longer than 5 seconds, or have some way to attach it to my car headrest so he can look and play at it in the car.

I was so glad to see and order this product from the new web site for parents - [....] that then went through Amazon. I'm a long time customer of Amazon. This toy is excellent for young babies. Very good for tummy time. They love their image in the mirror and the noises are fun. I sent it to my new niece. She loves it. M
