Stimulating, Easy-Care Design
Both convenient and fun, the Zen features a swinging overhead mobile with hanging toys, and 10 songs in two musical styles (Zen-like music and lullabies) stimulate baby's auditory sense. Ultra-portable, the Zen has a rear leg that folds flat for effortless storage and there are carry handles to move it from room and room. It's also a snap to clean the machine washable pad.
The Zen requires three "C" batteries (not included).

Great chair,
By 2 boys' Mom (Georgia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Fisher-Price Zen Collection Infant Seat (Baby Product)
We recieved this chair two weeks ago and our 3 month old son loves it. He will not take naps in his crib, so we had to get him something to sleep in (other than in my arms). He LOVES sleeping in his chair (as well as just sitting in it watching his big brother). The music is very soothing...lullabies with an Asian twist. Plus some nature sounds that include hearbeat sounds. Plus, it has a volume control. Also, the vibration option for the chair is a lot smoother than other chairs we have had. I don't mind turning it on with this chair...no way with our old Graco bouncy seat. The chair is easy to fold up and carry (very lightweight), so you can carry the chair in one hand and the baby in your other arm. Note: this is not a bouncy seat.

I bought this chair for my daughter. She has used it since she was first born. She is now six months old and will still stay in the chair for a while.
Pros: The chair looks great! This is what attracted me to the chair in the first place. It's not an eye sore like most other baby products. I like the sounds and the vibrations are very smooth and quiet so that's also nice. It is lightweight, easy to clean and not so big that it gets in the way all the time. Cons: the little dragonfly that dangles above doesn't do anything! I often have to place other toys in the chair with the baby so she is entertained. I wish that it at least moved. My baby hardly looks at it. It sucks batteries pretty quickly. Another comment mentioned forgetting to turn it off because it is so quiet and that is true. I have accidentally left it on so many times that by the time my daughter was a few weeks old the batteries were already dead. I wish it had a timer or something to turn it off. Also, the arm that holds the dragonfly falls out easily. I usually have the baby in one hand and have to move this with the other so sometimes the arm falls out when I am moving it around. I am 50/50 on whether or not I'd buy this again had I known what I know now. Overall, I am pleased with it, I just need to supplement with other toys.

Great seat! My 5 week old has loved this infant seat since we brought her home from the hospital. The vibrating feature is great to calm her down and she also loves the music. Plus, it looks great in our home. I strongly recommend this seat!
