Bobby Breen's golden voice,

Bobby Breen's voice is reason enough to own this DVD. "Fisherman's Wharf" will appeal to anyone who vaguely remembers the name of Bobby Breen and wonders if his voice was really pure gold. It was. Forget about the plot and the age of the film. You owe it to yourself to hear how beautiful a child's voice can be. As the old saying goes: "They don't make them like that anymore."

A Breen film worth experiencing . . .,

All Bobby Breen fans: If you are looking for decent quality prints of "Way Down South" and "Fisherman's Wharf", do not purchase anything but the Roan Group releases. Cheap in price and very high in quality, these two films have never looked better. The other public domain releases simply aren't worth the money they charge.
