good book
I was up in Alaska last week, and perused a version of this book in a Juneau bookstore. It is a very good book with nice targeted information, especially for the lesser known streams which I was interested in. I compared it to another book I had on roadside fishing and this book was clearly more practical. Only rating it a 4 because I didn't buy...

A Mormon Fishes Alaska
This book has lots of good information in the charts and maps, but the author is a Mormon and the text is full of the mindless little stories that Mormons enjoy so much. Just skip the text and follow the maps and you'll be okay.

I was up in Alaska last week, and perused a version of thisbook in a Juneau bookstore. It is a very good book with nice targeted information, especially for the lesser known streams which I was interested in. I compared it to another book I had on roadside fishing and this book was clearly more practical. Only rating it a 4 because I didn't buy the book and can't give it a comprehensive review. The parts I looked at were very good.

I do not think "Fishing Alaska" is the same as the review you have listed which is "A Morman fishes Alaska."
