4.0 out of 5 stars Good
The "reader" portion of the lens is large and very easy for your eye to catch. However, they are attached on either side of the lens so they are easily noticed by other people. If you're looking for discreet readers in your sunglasses you might want to think twice.

3.0 out of 5 stars reader sunglasses
Product works but stickon bifocal looks and feels funky. Probably as good as you're going to get for the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very comfortable, July 26, 2007
This review is from: Oasis Optics Fishing Bifocal Sunglasses Reader Polarized Tortoise or Black Frame (Accessory)
This product was delivered quickly (2 days) and was exactly as described. The polarization and shape of the lenses are of high quality and permits crisp viewing in direct sunlight. The glasses are very comfortable and lightweight. There is also a bonus of a neck cord already attached to the sunglasses which can easily be removed if you do not want it. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the reading lens portions of the glasses are highly noticeable because they are glued onto the lens on the front and back sides. But the reader magnification is conveniently placed for reading without disturbing long vision seeing and they also provide crisp seeing in their field of view.

5.0 out of 5 stars The BEST of the BEST!!!!, August 6, 2008
This review is from: Oasis Optics Fishing Bifocal Sunglasses Reader Polarized Tortoise or Black Frame (Accessory)
Great and quick service. High quality for a low price. Perfect fit and magnifying portion just the right size and position. The picture does not do justice for these glasses. The magnifying portion is not as pronounced as in the picture. These are perfect good looking driving and much much more glasses. I bought the tortoise frame and am planning on buying the black frame to leave in my car for driving. I bought 4 different pairs of readers on the same order and these were better than anticipated and without a doubt the best of the rest.

If you're old enough to need reading glasses, you know what a pain it is to be outdoors with sunglasses when you need to see fine detail. Off would come the sunglasses and out would come the reading glasses -- back and forth all day. What a pain! These sunglasses have reading lenses built in. Whether I'm driving, fly fishing, hiking and trying to read a map or GPS, etc., these glasses both protect my eyes while making it a snap to read or see fine detail. Highly recommended. Once you try them you will never go back and wish that you had thought of this great idea.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Quality for the money, July 30, 2007
This review is from: Oasis Optics Fishing Bifocal Sunglasses Reader Polarized Tortoise or Black Frame (Accessory)
I needed a polarized bifocal for salt water sportsfishing. They had to be dark enough to protect my eyes and have all the required UV protection--I needed non polarized (but darkened) bifocals so I could tie hooks etc anad also see my instruments clearly. Googgles and Glasses filled the requireemnt and quickly sent them to me in time for my fishing trip. Thanks very much. Denis Choate, Orange CA

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Optics, September 8, 2009
By
These sunglasses are great!!!! Thier polorized optics are second to none. I tested these with other very expensive sunglasses and they were better than any of them. They are great for fishing. The only down side to the glasses is the frames have a hole in the earpeace that can have a lanyard string put through it. Unfortunetely this creates a weak spot in the frames and they can break off the ear piece. Somehow they need to fortify this part to make them better.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sight savers!, May 27, 2009

The sunglasses have proven to be real winners for my husband. We live on our boat on weekends and the bifocal is great for reading the gauges while underway and the polarized lenses cut the harsh glare off the water. He loves them. Great price, great job. The cord is a nice addition too.
