Very good book for a beginner. Covers the basics pretty well. The only negative I would have would be that I would like to have seen a few more pictures and/or illustrations on some of the techniques discussed, especially on the cleaning and filleting of fish and maybe a few basic knots. Great instructions though and an entertaining read.
