I am the author of Fishing Escapes. I only gave it three stars because the information is outdated (1998). This book is not to be confused with my new book,"FISHING PASSION: A Lifelong Love Affair with Angling" which was published in 2002. Apparently some people are purchasing Fishing Escapes because they think it is the new book, FISHING PASSION, which has received many excellent reviews in the press recently.
