The pictures make this book very practical for inexperienced anglers. For example, the book shows how to make a minnow trap from a coffee can. Even seasoned fishermen will get new information and techniques. I'm a librarian and rarely see photos this plentiful and well done in a book

Buy the Sternberg books in the Hunting and Fishing Library if you want to learn how to fish. There are numerous and beautiful photographs and illustrations of all the lures and bait to use and where to fish.
