Just went to Montana and used the book to select rivers to fish. It was very helpful in finding fish and providing suggestions on what to use.

This book has twice proven its worth during fishing trips to several regions of Montana. Whether fly fishing or bait-casting, this book has the best info on access, conditions, lures and seasonal peaks. The regions are clearly delineated with simple maps for major rivers, lakes and parks. Don't let the older publication date scare you off. This book will serve anglers of all skills and local knowledge well for years.
