This review is from: Fly Fishing Saltwater Basics (Paperback)
I made my bones fly-fishing for trout in the mountain streams of Pennsylvania. So moving to Texas and trying to get back into my hobby has been a little rough. It seems that a lot of what I learned from my dad was simply the result of me copying what he did, not because I understood it. As a result, I was at a loss to figure out what was going on when trying to catch fish on the fly in the saltwater. I needed some help and turned to this book for it. Guess what, this book was a huge help. It explained a lot of the basics and what I took for granted, as well as offering new insight into some of the unique aspects associated with saltwater fly fishing. My fishing has improved more than could be imagined. Any any rate, the book was accessible and a great read. Get it and enjoy!
