This is a really good book. I greatly enjoy it and refer to it often. Its a good read and there is plenty to learn but if you are looking to learn from the masters about tackle and fly selection you will be a little dissapointed. These two masters are from the minimalist side of the river. Fine by me.

The book was very informative & had good information for a beginning fly fisherman.
There was a section on tying your own flies which was helpful. I would say it wouldn't be too helpful to someone who had never fly fished before but to a beginner with some knowledge, it was a good book.

I liked their writing style. I really enjoyed reading the book. These guys are right on!! Not only is this an enjoyable book to read, there is a ton of good information.
