I have too many fly-fishing vests because I have been fishing since I was six. However, I finally thinkto have brought the right vest because it gives me enough features (four pockets for thin fly- boxes, back pockets for extra reel or water bottle, and enough pockets for tools & fishing gear, etc.) anyone needs on the water. The key to this type of vest (like many others) is it can only hold so much, which forces you to only take the essentials-- and every fishing person I know can relate to this comment. Fishpond makes great quality products with good forethought to it's customer requirements. This product has mesh in the right places for hot days and can easily be under your rain jacket in cold days without feeling like you are packing for guerrilla warfare!
