I ordered this book for my three kids because I know they love to look at pictures. They were captivated by all of the incredible photographs of various creatures living under water. Slowly snorkeling through the pages, we savored the colorful pages and talked about the informative text. The light writing is sprinkled with humor that entertains and educates. As a parent, I remember special moments reading particular books with my children. Fishy Friends is one of these memorable books because it delighted my kids as they discovered a whole new world. The shine in their eyes as they turned each page was worth much more than the twenty dollars spent on the book! Does Amazon sell snorkeling gear?

My eight year old thoroughly enjoyed Fishy Friends as did I. The book has beautifully done photography that captures the reader.The text is fun and informative.This is the best book we have read that deals with the ocean world.There is also an important message about the fragility of the ocean environment.

My daughter Leah enjoys learning about the ocean. Fishy Friends has such incredible pictures that she read it cover to cover. It's full of humor. Leah says,"This book is amazing." We can't wait for the next two books coming this summer by this author/photographer!

This is one of those rare books that appeals to all ages and should be considered for every personal and public library. The amazing underwater photography is accompanied by playfully informative text.

Michael Patrick O'Neill's books provide an exciting and entertaining visual journey through the undersea world. Kids are given the chance to get to know both friendly and perhaps not so friendly ocean animals through the intimate photography that the author so expertly performs. Michael Patrick O'Neill is also an excellent speaker who always provides a memorable experience at school book fairs. Don't miss the chance to enjoy his work!
