I have a pair of these in my computer desk drawer and use them almost every day. They are extremely sharp and cut almost anything. I cut up old CD and DVD data disks like they are paper to destroy the data on them. These are the best all purpose cutting snips I have ever owned. My wife loves them too and always uses them around the house. We purchased them for the garden but we liked them so much we keep them in the house.

I have purchased these shears twice, lost my first pair and had to get another! Great tool and good for most any garden chore.

I probably own four or five of these shears. I keep 1 set in each of my first aid kits, and a set in my tool box. They cut well, hold up well, and don't take up much space.

A good deal

I love these! I own several pairs. I keep a pair all over the place (kitchen, coffe table, etc). I've tried other types of utility scissors and none compare. Great stocking stuffer too.

Like some others here, I own several and keep them various places. I bought my first to do a small carpeting job and it worked so well I bought a couple.
BUT, when I bought a new one (the old ones are getting dull) for another small carpeting job I found it was worthless on carpeting. What happened?
Still, for the price (I paid $9) it is a bargain. I still have to find something that cuts carpeting.

Works well and good quality. The long blades mean you do not get much leverage at the end. Harder materials are harder to cut there than close in at the pivot.

This snip really fills in a nice niche where you need to cut more than paper but less than thick metal. It is especially useful due to its size it can get into smaller spaces and make smaller, short cuts. Note: it is not a tin snips - so if you are really looking for heavy duty, this is not it. But it is great for what it is purposed for.
