These are a great little pair of pruners. They have the ability to cut through some pretty thick stuff, which has been great for tiding up some bushes/trees in our new place. Some of our trees hang over the sidewalk, so I wanted to make it easier to walk by (no ducking needed now). They works nearly effortlessly, on even some of the thicker branches. I didn't cut anything thicker than a little over a 1/2 inch, but it did that very well. All in all, worth the less than 10 dollars I paid after shipping.
