The build quality of this cultivator is pretty good, with the metal shaft of other Fiskars products. It is easy to wield, and the tines move quickly and smoothly. The length is a compromise between something you can use when kneeling down in the bed and something you can use while standing up, although when I do so I need to bend over a fair amount. I wish it was about a foot or two longer.
