The head design is beyond your average cultivator. You're forced to drop your handle slightly to dig into the soil then pull.It breaks up the soil beautifully. I use this frequently.Handle design is comfortable for prolonged use. Not your average cultivator.Certainly not the one your dad used to use..One of my favourite landscaping tools.An excellent Fiskars tool!

I'm a tall guy and love the extra long handle. The working angle of the tool is great and it easily breaks up hard soil. The tine end is nice and small and works well around obstacles. The only minor issue I've had is the plastic cover at the top of the handle comes off when I'm working. It slips right back on but it's irritating. The weight and balance is great. I'd definitely recommend it. I may try a dab of hot glue to keep the handle cover from slipping.

This is a well made tool. It's light weight but very strong which is perfect for all day use. Much better than cultivators with heavy wooden handles.
