This product is very well made.

I can put a lot of leaves in one bag and it remains wide open and stable using this to hold the bag.

I am now taking care of my yard alone and there is no one to hold the bag when I am raking leaves.

Though very utilitarian, this is one of the best ideas in yard cleanup items I've come across. It's light and manuverable. The bottom handle for easy tipping demonstrates the thoughtfulness of the design. And of course, the space it saves when collapsed for storage is just the icing on the cake.

We camp quite often and anyone who owns a motorhome knows that space limited. I bought 3 of these containers and I am SO glad that I did. I have looked a long time for ones that are big enough to fit my needs and these are better than expected. When open, they are just over 2 ft. tall and 22" wide. I use one in our motorhome bedroom for a hamper (there are 4 of us) and the other 2 are for outside garbage cans. These containers fit a large 33 gallon garbage bag (we use the Kirkland brand black drawstring bags from Costco) and they fit the bags perfectly. Just a tad snug, but not stretched. The hard plastic bottom is wonderful. It extends up the sides about 2", so no worries of rips or tears from rocks, brush etc. They fold down simply to about 4" thick. We have had ours for about a year now and they are in great condition. Rinse with a hose and air dry. I love these and highly recommend.

I bought this container with high hopes as the reviews were great and my neighbor has had one for years. I used to have a soft bottom container and it eventually tore, which is understandable.

I have used this container on and off throughout the spring and summer and was quite happy with it until yesterday when I went to move it (while it was empty) and one of the handles broke. I thought, "Oh well, I can use the other side." So I grabbed the other handle and it broke off, too! Unfortunately the container with no handles is useless so in the trash it goes.

I wish I could return this and get another in hopes that it was just a fluke, but my return window is expired. Such is life.

I have found this item to be extremely useful and convenient, especially when we have to empty out the lawn mower bag after cutting the grass.

I was looking for a better way to remove weeds from my gardens...I was tired of waiting for my husband to get around to hooking the wagon to the lawn tractor and then waiting again for him to move the wagon from the yard when I was done. I tried using a plastic 30 gallon trash can but that was too cumbersome because of the weight of the can before you add any clippings or weeds to it.
When I saw the Kangaroo Gardening Container, I knew it was what I had been looking for. It is collapsible and has a loop and button on opposite sides of the hard base so it stays collapsed and is easy to store on the wall with just a single hook. Just unloop the buttons when you want to use it and it stays open and upright while you fill it. It also has strong, sturdy handles located at the top so you can either carry it with both handles or drag it with one handle without fear of tearing a handles off. There is also a third handle at the base directly below one of the top handles which is a tremendous help when you want to dump it. The hard base makes it easy to drag across the yard just in case you fill it too much and can't lift all the weight. I've done that more and once and at first I was afraid one of the handles might rip off but that's not the case. This can can take a lot of abuse!
I read a lot of reviews before I purchased this gardening container and I want to thank all the reviewers who said they didn't like the collapsible container because the bottom ripped out so easily. Maybe they didn't know there are different bases or the hard shell wasn't available when they wrote their reviews but that made me look into the different types of these containers and helped me determine the best one is the container with the hard shell base.

The stitching on the handles tore out after only a couple of hours of use. The rest of the stitching looks just as weak and prone to tear. This is definitely NOT well built. I fully expect it to fall apart before the 2 year warranty is up. I don't know what many of the other reviewers are seeing when they remark about it being sturdy and well built. One reviewer even said "It also has strong, sturdy handles...". I think peoples perceptions about quality have been slowly eroding over the past 30 years or so. It's a good idea, poorly executed.

This is the second Fiskars product we have purchased, and the second that does not hold up well to the heat of a Texas summer, falling apart after less than a year's service - and light duty, occasional use at that. The stitching at the handles has come loose, the fabric has torn - not what I expect when purchasing something of this nature.

I own the Fiskars mower and multiple Fiskars hand tools, and appreciate them for their quality and ergonomic features. The 9413 container lacks both of those attributes.
I ordered this container because of the hard shell base. I have similar containers from other manufacturers, but the bottom rims have become frayed. The hard shell base solves that problem.
Unfortunately, that feature is overshadowed by the poorly designed handles. While other brands may have four handles (two on top, and two on the bottom), the 9413 has only 3 handles- two on top, one on the bottom. You won't care about that unless, like me, you need the help of a second person to lift the full container. Further, the handles are poorly secured, and flimsy. On the second use, the bottom handle got caught under the shell. The handle didn't just fray; it was torn apart.
This product appears to have been rushed into production before sufficient testing to catch the handle issues.
