Maybe I'm just a perfectionist, but the corners just aren't that great. It's probably fine for scrapbooking, but I was looking to add a little flair to my business cards where perfection counts in my mind. The corner is pretty perfect except where it meets the edge of the sides. It meets the edge still at an angle so it's not a perfectly round corner. I tried moving the card slightly differently, but it never made a difference. To me, the problem seems to be the die.

I gave it two stars still because it seems usable for some purposes still--I just won't use it.

I own a wedding invitation company, and thought this would be the perfect thing to replace our small round corner punches, as we are doing hundreds, or even thousands or corners per day. The other small corner punches can hurt your hands after this many rounds. I first purchased the Fiskars small "Round the Corner" punch. It didn't woo me at all, as the corners were not perfect in the least. I decided to try the larger "Round the Corner" punch, which is barely better. We were able to cut thousands of corners in a day without sore hands, but at the expense of perfect corners. I then had to go back with small scissors and cut off the jagged little edge it leaves on each one. NOT ideal when my time is precious and I'm having to do thousands of them. I do not recommend this punch, unless you are willing to have imperfect edges or go back and perfect each one with small meticulous cuts.

Corners are not round and ragged. They look like they were cut by a 5-yr-old with safety scissors. Tried it with a variey of papers. Difficult to see the work also. Pass on this one, even if you like Fiskars scissors. Made in China, ugh.

I just received this after having used the 1/2 inch squeeze punch for months. This one is nowhere near as good for some reason. The corners are very rough as if the cutter is already blunt, but I have just started using it! It seems to cut better on card than paper. At least with card I can smooth down the edges to get rid of the roughness, but this doesn't work so well on thin paper.

I love the size of the corners, just a subtle rounding which is what I was after.

I really wish it cut a smoother corner as I'm just not sure I will use it for more important things like invitations.

Needed this to make rounded corners for some game cards. The way it's designed to work with a scissors action by compressing the grips together makes it so that the punch doesn't stay in place relative to the paper. I then had to try it several times to make sure that it punch the whole corner. They also need to redesign this punch so that the sides of the paper centers at the mouth where you insert it into the punch. The punch itself requires the tip of the paper be placed in to a right angle that's apart of the punch which moves up and down. If the corner isn't in the angle, even if the page shoulders meet up at the mouth, this will cause an extra divot to be punched where you want the corner ruining your project. Overall, select a simpler punch which you'd only need to press down to make the cut.

I have bought several of the Fiskars squeeze punches (including this one) and have found them to be of very inferior quality. The die is made of metal, but the inside mechanism is plastic and will break, probably sooner than later. This type of punch is designed perfectly, as far as ease of cutting and the fact that you can SEE what you are cutting, but Fiskars needs to change the way they are manufactured so that they last more than a short time.

I love Fiskars products and have several of these squeeze type punches but this particular corner rounder is just horrible. I bought and returned three. All of them have trouble cutting through even thin paper. It just mashes and tears. However Fiskars also makes a decorative corner lever punch in a size small and it works beautifully!

This is not a bad product. I use it to punch corner on the wedding invitations and it is very easy to use.
