5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for kindergarten!, July 15, 2008

Best feature: they work for lefties just as well as right-handers! Also great: they're sharp enough but not dangerous, and they have rounded tips. I like the varied colors, too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Why Fiskars are the best brand for preschoolers, July 28, 2009
This review is from: Fiskars Kids Scissors Classpack, Blunt Tip, 12-pack (9501) (Office Product)
If you've ever owned cheap dollar store children's scissors, you'll understand why Fiskars are superior.

* They have a blunted tip for safety.
* They have excellent paper cutting ability, especially important for children who are just learning or have difficulty handling scissors.
* They can be used by both lefthanded and righthanded children.
* Though they cut paper, they don't easily cut skin. I can run my hand over the blade without hurting myself.
* Quality construction. The blades line up perfectly and the handles don't fall off.

I once bought dollar store children's scissors, but now I only buy Fiskars.

I love these scissors, they really are helping my kids learn to cut. They are easier to use and sharper than most children's scissors and my lefties don't seem to have any trouble either. Great price and they came right away. Kindergarten Loves Fiskars!

5.0 out of 5 stars My new favorite scissors, March 13, 2011

I bought a bunch of scissors because scissors keep getting misplaced in my home. Scissors are like one of those accessories, which everyone needs for odd jobs. They can easily get misplaced because they are used so frequently for random tasks. I decided to get a bunch so every room would have a few. Usually, scissors are pretty expensive ($7 a piece for a decent pair). These scissors were a good price and had excellent reviews. Fiskar is a great brand. I've noticed that these scissor types are well made. I'm pleased with the quality of this product. I use the scissors to open boxes, cut paper, and remove packaging material.

5.0 out of 5 stars great kid's scissors, March 4, 2011
This review is from: Fiskars Kids Scissors Classpack, Blunt Tip, 12-pack (9501) (Office Product)
I have been teaching pre-schoolers with special needs for 30+ yearsand these are the best scissors.I have had several pairs of fiskars scissors in my classroom over the last 5 years and this time I decided to get a whole pack of them. They are easy for the children to hold and cut paper easily. As several of the children in my pre-school class have fine motor difficulties these scissors are much less frustrating for them to use because they cut so easily. They are safe to use without a sharp point. They are excellent value at this price.

Bought these to donate for my child's Kindergarten Class. The teacher says that they are exactly what they needed to learn good scissor skills. The price was great, too!

When I asked my son's kindergarten teacher what supplies the class needed, she immediately said scissors and she specifically recommended the Fiskar brand. According to her, they are the best.
