I have to highly recommend this Fissler pressure cooker. This was my very first pressure cooker, I followed the manual washed it well and did the first run with the water and lemon juice, then fixed beans. Being a little afraid of pressure cooker stories, I didn't cook it as long as I should have. This has so many SAFETY features, it just doesn't seem like you could go wrong, unless you do wrong on purpose. Needless to say in 40 min's the pinto beans were about 88% cooked and I was very impressed. I'm making Garbanzo beans right now. It is so silent! So completely intact, and only takes a couple minutes to reach the second white band on the rod, then just lower the heat to keep it steady and set the timer and off you go to do something else! I love my Fissler Pressure Cooker, I truly believe it was worth EVERY PENNY it cost me. I'll be using this for years! Thank-You Fissler!!! For making pressure cooking a joy!

I have had a pressure cooker from Fissler for several years now. It is a great piece of kitchen equipment. Cuts cooking time in half and really brings out the flavor in food. I recommend not only this product, but any product made by Fissler.

This is the best pressure cooker I have ever owned. It is made with quality materials and so easy to use. It is virtually silent and no jiggling noises like the old ones. This is an item to pass on to the next generation. I would purchase other products from this company. Highly recommend.

This is an amazing pressure cooker. I have had mine for a few years now and it's one of the most useful things in my kitchen. I cook stews, chili and risotto often and after many failed attempts at risotto in a pot I learned that using my pressure cooker makes it almost fool proof. I'm still amazed at how silent it runs compared to other PCs, plus the safety features (valve and lock, etc) keep it stress free. The only thing I have to do is change the rubber gasket about every two years. This is one of the most solid, dependable and well engineered pressure cookers I have ever used and I highly recommend it.

i have been using this pressure cooker for over 5 years... It is a time saver and it is great quality...

We have troubles with the internal rubber gasket (38-667-00-201) of our pressure cookers.
Each 5 months we have to change it.
We never had to replace it in so few months with others pressure cookers.
The black pot handle complete is cracket after a year (21-641-01-270).

May be the problem is at the top; it could be deformed.
