i never thought i would own a pressure cooker till i needed something to cut down the amount of time it takes to make corned beef. 45 minutes instead of 4 hours? i'm in.
the blue point is quiet and efficient, providing the ultimate environment for corned beef, stews, beans, you name it. i remember the pressure cooker my parents used as a rattling hissing behemoth that could be heard all over the house. the blue point is quiet and can barely be heard from the next room when fully pressurized. also, releasing the pressure when the timer goes off is as easy as pushing an ergonomically positioned button. this device is worth the money and clearly will be something i can pass on to my daughter.

I have been using this Fissler 8.5 Qt PC almost daily for about 2 months now,no complaints,easy to clean,very stable with temperature,no surprises,great company,great product!
