I purchased this Fit and Fresh blender as a replacement for a Hamilton Beach Personal Blender which I really liked. The plastic jar on the Hamilton Beach cracked after less than a year of gentle use. I decided to try the Fit and Fresh in the hope that the jar would be more sturdy. I used the Fit and Fresh twice and do not like it at all. The rubber gasket for the lid fits poorly and is always loose and "floating", making it a nuisance to get the lid on tightly. The blender therefore leaks most of the time when it is turned over. I have now ordered a replacement jar assembly for my Hamilton Beach and will go back to using that. Note that the Hamilton Beach is less expensive than the Fit and Fresh and that they carry replacement parts for it very cheaply!

Received this, put in the 6AA batteries, hit the button, and nothing. Unfortunately I didn't buy from Amazon, I bought from another company that I now get to deal with to return this $13 item, and probably have to pay to ship it back ($7). Not very impressed. Even if it did work, it doesn't look very impressive.
