I purchased this for my daughter on her first birthday and she is now 19 months old and still loves to play with it. She loves to sing and work out along with the bear. It is very durable since it has been dropped numerous tomes and still works like new.

My daughter got this as a Christmas gift, and within 2 weeks it stopped working. We took the foot panel off and found the wire connecting the batteries came off. While soldering that one back on the other came off. A week later it stopped working again...I'm on to the other foot. No wonder they don't make it anymore and we can't even exchange it. This bear caused my daughter more crying than playing.

Holds up after years, and my kid loves it, June 18, 2010

I bought one of these a few years ago, well before I had a child, because of my own Care Bear nostalgia. I now have a toddler with a Care Bear-themed room who has adopted this bear. She LOVES it. Thank goodness the words to "Physical" have been changed so that the bear is actually singing about exercise rather than what Olivia Newton-John sings about. My daughter, who is 19 months old, tries to sing along. She also loves the "Head Shoulders Knees and Toes" even though she isn't very good at touching her toes. My daughter learned how to turn the bear on (and off to switch songs) when she was 15 months old. This toy provides a ton of entertainment [at least as long as a toddler attention span will hold anyway].

This was a gift for my 91 year old mother with dementia. She loves it. She laughs everytime we turn it on.
