As someone who tried all the "quick fixes," I am living proof that this no-nonsense approach to fitness actually works. The author doesn't sugar-coat anything (pun intended!) by saying it will be easy. He has a motivating, humorous voice that encourages the reader to reach down and really work for it. Fit Over 50 covers every aspect of wellness: strength training, aerobics, diet, and supplementing. It presents a very well-rounded overall picture. I've lost 34 pounds and 14% bodyfat in 6 months. Bravo!
