These were fabulous shoes for about a month. Then the wool formed a crease across the top of the foot where it bends. Within a few more weeks, it became a hole that stretched all the way across both shoes. The wool also beads up after a short period and forms ragged looking pills.
I had these shoes just two months before I took them to the cobbler. He wasn't able to stitch the holes and they look simply terrible.
I had a pair of Haflinger Wool Clogs for years that did not have this problem. The sole wore out before the top did. FitFlops needs to work on the manufacturing side to make these sturdier.

These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. And, unfortunately, the ugliest.

i own several pairs of fit flop clogs and loved them! they are by far the most comfortable shoes i own and are great quality, but i am disappointed in these which i bought to wear to work. first off i have owned these for about 6 months now and the red on the soles has come off on ALL my socks and it doesn't wash out. now every pair of socks i own are permanently pink on the bottom. second, once you bend down a crease begins to form across the shoe and then one day you look down and there is a huge hole across your foot. not up to par with fit flop quality, wish they were returnable but just threw them away.

They are wonderfully light in weight and seem to be constructed well. They are not attractive from a style perspective but I knew that; they ARE comfortable which is why I bought them. A word about sizing...my shoe size is an 8 but I always buy a 9 because I don't like shoes that have a close fit. A 9 in this shoe is an EXACT fit for me--not even slightly big so I'm glad I didn't buy my actual size.

I had purchased a pair of Blizzard Boots by Fitflop and found then extremely comfortable. I decided to get a pair of clogs to wear around the home. They are wonderfully comfortable (and I have several problems with my feet and knees.) My problem with the clogs, the red color of the foot bed comes off on my feet and socks. The grey color of the upper comes off also. I believe these are the most cushioned shoes I have ever worn. They do run a little wide as do the boots. I have always worn a medium width. I certainly plan on purchasing more styles in the future.

Not many shoes can stay comfy for a 12 hour shift on my feet! I made everyone at work try them on to see the difference. Also noticed much less swelling in my feet by the end of the night.

I love FitFlops for their great support when walking. The fabric on these was very stiff and my toes kept hitting. I have others of this type but the fabric is softer and more comfortable. I wanted them for slippers and for that purpose, they are uncomfortable. Again, I have same style with shearling and suede and like them very much.

Update on my original review... Shoe is wearing fine. No issue with quality BUT the pink bottom is turning all my socks pink!! :-( Luckily I bought these to be my house shoes so I'm just wearing pink fluffy socks with them.

Just as comfortable as my sandals. They have almost cured my plantar fasciitis. The wool material is a little rough so you need to wear with a good sock.

This is the most comfortable shoe ever!!! I have been wearing FitFlops for a couple of years now & always dread the coming of winter when I have to put my feet back into closed toed shoes. This shoe, however, was comfortable from the moment I put it on. It's fit was perfect & I have lived in it since it was delivered. I previous ordered the brown suede FitFlop clog, but the fit was a little tight across the top of my foot &, consequently, I couldn't get my foot all the way into the shoe. So, a small amount of my heel hangs over the back of the shoe (not at all comfortable). I read some reviews on this & they said the leather stretches out over time & I'm hoping this is true. Not a problem with this felt clog. It's fit was perfect & the support I get is just like the original open toed FitFlop. A great shoe for winter months.
