These were fabulous shoes for about a month. Then the wool formed a crease across the top of the foot where it bends. Within a few more weeks, it became a hole that stretched all the way across both shoes. The wool also beads up after a short period and forms ragged looking pills.
I had these shoes just two months before I took them to the cobbler. He wasn't able to stitch the holes and they look simply terrible.
I had a pair of Haflinger Wool Clogs for years that did not have this problem. The sole wore out before the top did. FitFlops needs to work on the manufacturing side to make these sturdier.
These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. And, unfortunately, the ugliest.
