Worth every penny!,

Okay, ladies, we'll all admit what caught our attention was the concept of toning our legs and bottoms just by walking around in flip-flops, but does anyone really expect miracles in a matter of a few weeks? Come on!!! That claim wasn't enough to convince me to spend $50.00 on a pair of flip-flops, but reading close to 100 positive reviews definitely was. After retiring my well-worn, several-years-old pair of "cheapies", I researched this brand and read testimonials of so many people who recommended them for the improved balance and posture that they offered. I ordered the Oasis thong sandals, received them a few days later, and haven't taken them off since! I felt a difference the moment I put them on; I smiled and breathed a sigh of pleasure and contentment! They are incredibly comfortable, both outide and around the house, immediately improved my posture and balance, and have made a huge difference in the back pain I have suffered for years. This past week, for the first time in years, I have not had any back pain at all, not even when I first wake up in the morning. My husband, who is disabled with chronic back pain even after several surgical procedures, initially grumbled about my purchase of what he called "a pair of fifty dollar flip-flops". After seeing the difference these FitFlops have made for me, he now is going to order a pair for himself!(And, I'll order a pair of FitFlop clogs for the winter.) Sure, it will be nice if I notice more toned legs after wearing these for a year or so, but I know they've already paid for themselves in terms of the health benefits alone. Order a pair... You won't be sorry!

Love them, they are my forth pair. Unfortunately I learned that my first 3 pairs were too big. One size smaller made all the difference. I'm a size 9- 9 1/2 and the 8 fits me perfect. (Even with long toes)

I have no idea if these actually do as they claim.. but I've never been able to wear a flip flop for any more than an hour or so.. no support, no sole, no cushion.. ouch! But the minute I put these on, I knew they were worth every penny! I wear them probably from memorial day to labor day and then some...every stinkin' day, 8-10 hours a day! I now own 2 pairs.. a sporty style and a dress style! MOST COMFORTABLE SHOES I OWN! no leg pain, no back pain, Heck.. I've even been able to get through a kids ball game running all over in these things!

I figured I would give these a try because they claim to give your legs and but a better shape as you walk. I was a little skeptical, but I decided to try them anyways. I've been wearing them around for about 3 weeks 5 days a week. There is a warning label on them when you get them to only wear them for a few hours at a time and then increase your wearing over time to prevent leg soreness. I just wore them just like any other sandals and didn't experience any discomfort. However I do not notice any difference in my legs of but. They run large and I wasn't able to order half sizes, I normally wear a 9- 9 1/2, I went to a store and tried on a 9 and it was too small, so I ordered a 10 and they are too big. They are very comfortable though. I give the product a B-.

I bought these last summer but didn't wear them that much. This summer I have worn them everywhere and I truly believe they have toned my legs and tush. I have lost a few pound from dieting, but believe it's the Fit Flops that have made my legs look better--trust me, I didn't lose that much weight. They do run a little large (I ordered a size smaller than I wear) and would prefer if they weren't as wide through the toes, but I totally recommend them.

Love fitflops in general, but these suede ones are a dud. They stretch out and the part that goes between the toes broke. I wrote to the manufacturer, since the shoes were less than 2 months old, and they haven't responded! NOT GOOD!

A friend of mine, a physical therapist in training, highly recommended the Fit Flops to me. As usual, I look for what is on sale to buy and Amazon had this $50 pair for sale for $35. That's a $15 savings, no tax, and free shipping. What a deal!! That's like a savings of $19.50 for me. Was so excited to get them. The Shoe Parlor, where the Fit Flop came from, shipped it FAST - 2 days. Was pleasantly surprised there. However, when I tried on the sandal, it was a size 9, which is what I ordered. I thought they would be similar to how the Privo's fit on me, which is a totally different manufacturer. I was totally wrong. My toes are shorter and my instep high. Had to cram my foot into the shoe to get it to even get close to the thong part and the top of my instep was in pain. Only wore it around the house, mainly sitting at my computer, but my legs got so tired and hurting, sore. Ended up developing some knots in the back of my upper calves just below the knee and my heels began hurting. Probably because the instep was too tight. When I called Customer Service, he was very nice. He says the Fit Flops do give a little and just be patient. I gave it another shot for another 2 weeks, and would even wet the suedelike fabric with water and put these big golfball like things I had to see if it would stretch it. It didn't and this was done for 2 weeks. Every time I would put them on, I just physically didn't feel good. After the 2 weeks, finally went to Macy's to try on various sizes of the Fit Flops. Trying even a size 10 and 11, the instep on both the 2 sizes larger were still too small for me. However, I tried on the more basic Fit Flop and the size 10 fit alright. But, because my toes are not real long, my foot wouldn't go all the way to the front of the shoe how the thong is supposed to fit, and my foot kept sliding back. This was not comfortable and I was incredibly frustrated. Then, I tried on a part of WalkStar 3, Soft Leather, Tan and they were perfect. The size 10s were too large and so I went to the Size 9s. They fit perfectly -- not too big, nor too small and my foot was able to slide all the way to the front and I was able to walk without my foot slipping to the back. The full soft leather Fit Flop seemed to be the only Fit Flps that fit my foot. There are so many pretty styles, but unfortunately, my foot seems to be an odd structure or something that doesn't do well with this shoe. I've returned the Fit Flop that I purchased yesterday by USPS to the Shoe Parlor. Hopefully they will refund my money. If they do end up having the pair that fit me at Macy's, I may get them from them at a later point in time, as I have a $10 off coupon, free shipping, and no tax. That would be about a $16 savings. Hey, every little bit counts.

Fit nice but Fitness Flop?,

I like these flip flops because they are comfortable. I'm not sure I'm sold on the fitness aspect of them. I've only had them for 2 months so maybe I will see some results in the future. They are light-weight. I don't like heavy shoes of any kind. I do have to say that in flat flip flops, my feet start to hurt after walking for long periods of time because I have high arches. I have not felt my arches hurting with these. Overall, great product.

Recently, while on a trip to London, England, during an unusually hot spell, my feet decided to almost triple in size overnight. This amazing growth was due to the heat and being on my feet on vacation. I was there with my sister and she encouraged me to purchase a pair of fitflops while we were in Edinburgh. I declined at that time, but 2 days later caved in and bought a pair of black Oasis fitflops. I wished I'd purchased a pair in Edinburgh and saved myself 2 days of foot pain! These are marvelous. Nice and cool, just what I needed in the heat.A week or two after returning home I continued my recently acquired tradition of doing something disastrous after returning from an overseas trip. This time it involved stepping on a "bear board" and puncturing my foot twice. Needless to say, the fitflops saved me again. I have not been able to wear anything else as the pain is too much, however with the fitflops it is almost as if the punctures don't even exist. I'd recommend these to anyone. The footbed IS a little wide (after the swelling went down from the heat in London!) for anyone with a narrow foot. But I've not experienced any blistering when my feet were 3 times their normal size or at their normal size. I purchased 2 more pairs once I returned home - the clogs for winter (yummy sheepskin interiors!) and the Electra fitflops. These flipflops generate compliments galore too. No way to go wrong with them. |
