If you like the ease of rubber flip flops but are smart enough to realize that flip flops offer your feet absolutely no protection or support....then these are the rubber thongs for you!

Fit Flops exploded on the scene several years ago with a marketing campaign that promised an exercized leg and a fabulously improved derriere by merely wearing a pair! Yeah, right! LOL! Dream on, Missy!

Ok, now that's out of the way, lets give credit where credit is due by saying that these are extremely comfortable and supportive and not bad looking either.

There are multiple models of Fit Flops. The Walkstar 111 model, which is relatively recent, employs a single piece of well padded leather that extends from the thong between the toes, up over the top of the foot, and is attached to both sides of the footbed. The leather top is more "rigid" than the grosgrain fabric bands of earlier models and seems to provide more support by preventing the foot from slipping as much from side to side.

The circular Fit Flop logo remains at the top of the instep but as a decorative, non-structural element.

The Walkstar 111 comes in many color combinations. I own the black patent and am quite pleased with them.

The footbed is the same as earlier models. It is 1 1/2" high at the heel and is contoured to the shape of the foot. This contouring cradles the foot and provides excellent support....for a flip flop....these do not take the place of normal shoes. These are not for long hikes, spinning class, jogging, trekking, mambo lessons, etc.

In my experience, these are excellent very casual shoes to wear around, go to the beach with, change into at the end of the day. I find them supportive, comfortable and comforting to aching feet. I also own an earlier version, the Walkstar, in Bronze. I've worn them for over a year and they've held up very well. I've worn them in the rain and they are none the worse for wear.

One caveat. They come in whole sizes only. I usually wear a size 7 1/2 but I wear size 7 Fit Flops. Some people size up, some size down. Try before you buy!

This is a very comfy flip-flop, and it doesn't flop as much as some other "flops" that I have had. It definitely runs large. I often wear a size 8, but there is at least one inch sole extending past the end of my toes in this size 8! The thong does tend to irritate the toes just a smidge. I question whether there will be any noticeable benefit in firming and toning the lower body from wearing this particular shoe; however, it is cute and has a nice cushioned sole. The picture shown for the oyster color leads one to believe that it is a light tan or beige. It is not. It is definitely "white."

Well, these have to be the most comfortable sandals I've ever had in my life. I now have 6 pair and want more. I live in them they are so comfy and stylish. The bronze is exceptional although I have to say I like them all. They seem to be helping my leg muscles and gluteus maximus as well. So you can't go wrong. Just make sure to buy a half size down.

I broke my ankle twice last year and part of my physical therapy was done on a wobble mat. The midsole on these shoes are a type of wobble mat that make your ankles work to keep your balance. I can really tell a difference between my weaker ankle that has been broken and my strong ankle. You do have to work up to wearing these for an extended amount of time as your legs will tire. I recommend them to anyone who wants to work on their legs while they go about their day.

I wear an 8-8.5 and have narrow feet. I bought these in an 8 and they fit fine (but look big).
When I first wore the Walkstar III around the house, I thought the strap between the toe was so uncomfortable that I wasn't going to be able to wear them. I got busy doing something and later realized that I hadn't even noticed that I still had them on! Now I like them so much that I've been walking the dogs in them (instead of tennis shoes, a first!). I bought another pair in 'Oasis', a soft suede that I wear instead of slippers. They really do provide support and make my aging feet feel much better. Happy feet make me a much nicer person!

I've been feeling lethargic and not able to walk fast or with a spring in my step and the Fitflops have helped me walk faster and with more energy. Because of all the padding and shock absorbency they are very comfortable. I gave them three stars instead of four or five because the "gym built-in" claim is an exaggeration. Had they been described as very comfortable shoes that will help induce more walking, which can ad to your fitness level, ok, but so far, I'm not feeling a super tight butt or anything. Also, they're not the best looking shoe I've seen. I paid $60.00 plus shipping & handling which I think is a bit over priced. However, in fairness, they are very comfortable and have helped me walk faster and more comfortably. That's fair, so I do recommend them.

This is my fifth pair of Fitflops. Once you have a pair; you will want more. I live in them during the summer. I even wore my suede ones some this winter indoors. I don't know if the claims to give your legs a workout are true, but they are the most comfortable shoes you will ever wear. A word of caution - go down a size. The first pair I bought were a 9 (which I wear in most shoes) but they were too big. Now the 8's work great! Don't be afraid about them being between your toes, they are no problem. I am a big fan of Fitflops. I have black, silver, beige suede, pink, and flamingo. The flamingo is beautiful!

from the first moment I put these shoes on, I felt the difference. I had been having trouble with my back and that has steadily improved since I've been wearing these shoes. I don't say they cured me, but they make me walk better and are very comfortable. I forget I have shoes on - and I've always liked barefoot best. I would recommend these shoes for everyone.

I love these flip flops! They really work, too! Last year I had major sciatica and back issues which dibilitated me. It also atrophied my legs. I have been trying to work out more often, but even when I did I had a hard time getting my legs back in shape. I bought my first pair and noticed a dramatic difference right away! They are not a miracle cure -- but they do work. When I come home from work, I put them on instead of slippers or bare feet. I'd recommend them to anyone. I have three pairs now and wish I had more. I just wish they were priced a little better. But, with my back conditions - they're worth it!!!

Perfect sandal. I can wear it all day without my legs feeling tired. Great support. My ankles never wobble and my feet always seem in place when I walk in them. I highly recommend these!
