Great book! Takes the guesswork out of golf fitness training,
By A Customer
This review is from: The Fitness for Golfers Handbook:Taking Your Golf Game to the Next Level (Paperback)
I found this book helpful and informative. It covers every aspect of fitness training for golfers, even going into detail on what to bring to the golf course and healthy choices of food to eat while there. I especially enjoyed the chapter on self-assessment exercise, as I am in need of attaining the knowledge of what to do for my specific lack of flexibility and how to increase my strength on the golf course too. This book is a winner!

Please, let's get serious about golf fitness!,

This review is from: The Fitness for Golfers Handbook:Taking Your Golf Game to the Next Level (Paperback)
I'm an instructor, and like to recommend fitness books to my students, yet this one falls short in many respects compared to general fitness books and the other golf fitness books. I think "Fitness for Dummies" is a better golf and fitness book than this.

Generic Basic Fitness,

This review is from: The Fitness for Golfer's Handbook: Taking Your Golf Game to the Next Level--Look Better, Feel Better, Play a Stronger Game of Golf! (Paperback)
Compared to other books like Complete Golf Conditioning, etc, this is really generic fitness with the word golf added. I was really disappointed in the nutritional section as I am diabetic and there were only high-sugar options which I had to make. Out of all the golf fitness books I bought in the last 2 months, this was the worst by far.
