About the Author

Dr. Richard Kelley, a graduate of Robert Wood Johnson School of Medicine and Dentistry, is a practicing Bariatric physician who resides in Austin, Texas, 'The Live Music Capitol of the World.' Twelve years as an emergency medicine physician helped change his focus from 'reactionary care' to an approach centered in prevention and the development of optimal health. He is trained in Family Medicine and Certified by The American Board of Bariatric Medicine. Besides living an active, fitness-focused life, Dr. Kelley plays acoustic and electric bass, as well as guitar.
Dr. Kelley and his wife Sherrill are co-founders of Physician's Way Healthy Weight Loss (physiciansway.com) in Austin, where they are raising their son, Jake.

After reading Richard Kelly's "The 3 Hour Appetite" I was intrigued to learn more. I am so glad I read this book. I learned so much about what I can improve upon to increase my fitness level, muscle tone and have a clear and simple strategy for weight loss. I have always kept myself in relatively good shape but struggle with the same 5-8 pounds. This book has given me the guidance I needed and I have quickly seen results.

Whether you stuggle with your weight or you just want to gain in fitness this book will blow your mind. The simple steps that Dr. Kelly takes you through will help you get where YOU want to go. I am now recommending this book to my clients. If you think you can't get in better shape or loose weight give it one more try - read this book.

Imagine you could only choose one book about weight loss... choose this one.

This book will put you on the right path to successful weight loss, you may well become a lifer and find the freedom you desire from failed attempt after failed attempt.

Read this book and Dr. Kelley's other book The 3-Hour Appetite.

Coming from a family plagued with diabetes and cardiovascular issues, diet and exercise have always been an important part of my life. This book has opened up a very simplistic way of understanding how food and exercise should work together to ensure and maintain a healthy body. Most importantly, it has helped me adjust my way of thinking - my attitude - about healthy eating and proper exercise, and has caused me to implement changes that have already begun to help me in my journey to a healthier me.
