Extremely dissappointing!!,

The bike is a pain to put together. Still haven't figured out how to connect all the wires from the console while getting the little plastic covering underneath it and don't expect any help from their instruction manual either (VERY POOR DESCRIPTIONS). Like another reviewer mentioned, it is designed poorly ergonomically and not all that comfortable. A lifetime warranty on parts isn't too important when you consider how cheap the parts on this item must be to replace. Unfortunately there isn't a lifetime warranty on the labor to replace said parts. One of the descriptions on this site said this bike can perform as well as a bike at your local gym. If that's the case then you should switch gyms. It's beyond basic and the performance can't be considered anything more than average. Even if you're looking for a basic workout you can do much better than this one at $450. If I could have rated it below 1 star I would have.

Gets the job done!,

The B40 bike is a neat bike. It is simple in its function and thats what I was looking for. Don't need all the programs anyway. Just concerned with speed and distance and my pulse to keep my heart rate in the zone. The resistance is manual which is no big deal but when you get up past 10 to 15 it can get really tough and you really have to work hard. My wife loves the seat for it is big and very soft especially after you've been on it for an hour. We got the bike because the lifetime parts warranty was a big factor for us in our decision. Easy to put together it took us about 30 minutes. The manual is very simple in fact you might say not enough information at least on the assembly but it wasn't hard to figure out. We think for the price and the lifetime warranty we got a great deal for it gets the job done!Coyote

Maybe one of the worst purchases I've ever made. For starters the assembly instructions/diagrams on this bike couldn't be any more vague. Once you finally get it assembled you'll find the bike performance itself mediocre at best. The parts themselves, especially the console, seem very cheap and not remotely worth the current price. The only variations you get from this model are by manually changing the resistance level with a knob located on the front of the bike. There are no programs built in to randomly change resistance levels, so it's basically get on and pedel which will get boring very quickly. Other drawbacks: The seat height level can be adjusted, but the seat itself can not be tilted up or down as some other models allow. The knob to change the seat height is on the side not on the back and will come very close to hitting your right ankle as you pedel. If you have long legs be prepared to have your knees hit the handlebars if you lean forward in the seat even a little bit. This is just a poorly designed bike and not worth the purchase. Spend a little more money and you can get a much more productive workout bike or spend a lot less and you can probably get something as good as this one.
