Lost the knob and screw for my pot. This fixed the problem, plus the finger guard made it better then the original.

Great knobs, easy to install. We had to replace a knob from a pasta pot and this one works great.

I bought these simply because I couldn't find any other pot knobs anywhere. They come with screws to attach them, which is fine, but all of my pot lids have welded-on screw threads. I was hoping there was some kind of standard thread size for pots and that these would fit anyway, but the threading is too large for the lid I needed a knob for. The only way I could use these would be to take my Dremel to the lid, cut off the threads that are there and drill a hole so I could use the included screws. These knobs would not be worth the effort. They are cheap pieces of cr*p made in China. I dropped one about 3-1/2 feet and the edge chipped right off.
I was looking at my kitchen cabinets and it occurred to me that maybe one of the cabinet knobs would fit. I removed one to try it, and it did fit, so I'm going to the hardware store to look for a cabinet knob with the same threading. I can probably get a nice ceramic one with pretty flowers or something and have a lid better than new.
