THis is a great record that kicks it from start to finish. White Stripes+Bad Brains+Sam Cooke+Jazz Insrumentals = White Denim. And that is just the tip of the musical iceberg. The only thing better than the recording is the live show. Saw them a week ago and I still can't believe how amazing they were. I've seen them all, from the Dead in the 60's to Radiohead this summer and everyone in-between. All I can say is from start to finish the hardest rocking band working today. Trust me. Hear them and see them live. You will not be disappointed.

First review as well, and probably the last. Again White Denim does us all a favor and brings back RAWK and roll music. It's one part Zepplin, one part Sam Cooke, one part The Doors and even a little Hendrix to funk it all together. It's beautiful and that's all I'm going to say. Also please see them live if you haven't... they will blow your mind. Look up on Youtube their live studio video for "All You Really Have to Do / Mess Your Hair Up"... makes you want to dance and smile. They bring it like that every show.

Always feel like I have to review the unreviewed. Shout out to some randomn posting from a guy on [...] on how I have to check these guys out and see them live. I bought the album and saw them live and I'm a believer. The album will take a few listens to grow on you but they have something you can't bottle. Electic rock with poppy hooks at times but they bring something fearless to the table which odes to a punk mindset. A take no prisoner approach. Their live show impressed me more than any other band I can remember to date and I can't understand how these guys haven't blown up amongst the musical community. I hope they keep their energy for years to come. It's like a rollercoaster that almost comes unraveled but through energy and force they keep you coming back and wanting more. To not see them live would do this album disjustice. If you have an open mind by not being able to label their sound and love energy in musician's work you will not be dissapointed.
