This ball is a little bit more money then others, but the plastic is thick and sturdy. I use this to sit on at work and after initially blowing it up, I haven't had to add any more air and it hasn't gotten squishy. It feels firm and solid and a heck of a lot more comfortable then any chair. Very pleased with this purchase.
