This look at the women who were "used" by the Nazi's and then redeamed themselves by working with the underground was a bit of a look into what these women did to survive during Nazi occupation of the countries of Europe during WW II

This is an old film - made and produced long before today's computer enhanced, glamorous effects and such. I enjoy black and white films mainly because the seem to focus on the people not the enhanced extras. Was this film a bit predictable - sure. But it wasn't so predicable that it didn't keep my interest. If nothing else it is worth watching to see some future stars --- before they became stars.

Black and white films are classics, and it adds more depth to a film. This was slow to begin, but as the movie progressed, I was impressed with the story line and surprised at some of the outcomes of the characters. I became swept up in the drama of the war and the questioning of why wars are necessary.

It was a good movie on how these women were banned because of a soldier's bragging lie. They worked together and even helped in the war. Since it is an old movie, don't expect it to end as you would imagine. To me that was its downfall, but everyone is different.

Its a movie that you think about and feel so much compassion for what they had to endure...the acting and the movie is very compelling..these are the kind that kids should watch to understand history and be grateful for the spoiled life they have

The movie doesn't glorify war but shows truth of the intense emotional struggles of those involved. I would hope that people understand that many in the military want peace but feel they must be "not so nice" to achieve it.

This is an old Black and White view of what it would be like in WWII. I never knew women were "branded" for fraternizing with German men. It is quite sad at first. They are forced to join a German fighting unit and it moves back and forth amongst fear, strength, romance, friendship, loyalty, and duty. I found it both realistic and touching.

Unfortunate circumstances and struggles during wartime. A good movie, I would watch it again, and would enjoy having it in my video library.
