Cyril, Anthea, Robert, Jane, and their baby brother are ready for a summer of fun and games. All around their new house in the country, there are so many places to explore: quaint villages and the surrounding woods, local farms and bakeries. But when they accidentally dig up a wish-granting, ill-tempered, prehistoric Sand-fairy, the children find themselves in one amazing adventure after another.
