5.0 out of 5 stars Great Book For Anyone
This is a wonderful version of the original. It's a great book for anyone, who has to work in "Team Work" situations. We purchased it in addition to several copies of the original, for our Manager's Library. I wanted to get the Manga version because I felt that it might appeal to those in the office who considered themselves "non-readers". The illustrations are awesome...

1.0 out of 5 stars Buy the hardcopy rather than the Kindle version
I am sure that this is a high quality book when read in its hardcopy published form but the text is almost unreadable on my Kindle Fire tablet. I tried using it on my Kindle app on my Windows PC and blowing it up as large as possible and it is better but still a chore to read. I regret having purchased the Kindle version. I have a hardcopy of the original...

I wanted to get the Manga version because I felt that it might appeal to those in the office who considered themselves "non-readers". The illustrations are awesome but don't take away from the books focus and message. The information is clear and to the point. I would reccomend it to anyone who is considering in the original - especially if they like Manga.

I have a hardcopy of the original non-illustrated version of this classic book (which I use with teams at work to make them more effective). Thus the content of the book is worth 5 stars but the execution of this illustrated version on the Kindle must be rated at one star. I am sure it is better in hardcopy but this review is for the Kindle version.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent take on a great book, January 1, 2012

This review is from: The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, Manga Edition: An Illustrated Leadership Fable (Paperback)
I've been reading the leadership books by Lencioni for a few years. Each of them is considered a "fable" in that it uses narrative to tell a leadership story. The Five Dysfunctions of a Team is a great book. This manga comic version is an excellent option for the folks in my leadership team. It made the story enough fun that everyone completely enjoyed the book and lost sight of the fact they were learning a great lesson.

I had read the original version and wanted to see how this format would stand up against that. This is my first manga book, so it took a few pages to get used to it, but the points were made in an engaging way and kept my interest more than the original. I especially liked the last section because it was more succinct and better written than the original. I would recommend this to all who want to build a vibrant, positive team that moves forward on projects rather than getting mired in pettiness and politics. Storytelling is the best way to get a point across, and seeing a story works better than just words.

This review is from: The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, Manga Edition: An Illustrated Leadership Fable (Paperback)
This is an excellent adaptation applying concepts in The Five Dysfunctions of a Team: A Leadership Fable (J-B Lencioni Series) to the graphic novel format. I recommend for any student of business who would like to digest some interesting comments in a more engaging format. The interested reader might also consider Atlas Black: Managing to Succeed

I haven't finished reading the book yet. I am not a corporate business person, so I don't really understand some of the book, but I'm sure it would be helpful to persons in business.
