Book Description

Summary
If you have an idea, write it down!

This issue of five ideas takes one simple idea and turns it into a range of concepts for business, improving the world, or for any use you like.

Learn the simple process, be more creative. Have a laugh at some of the really strange things right under our noses.

Description
What are you screaming out for? Ideas? Creativity?
Yes.

Business is. Governments are. Communities will. Five Ideas: Issue 1 is about getting great ideas through observing simple things.

The digital economy revolution isn't even in full swing yet.

Fact or Fiction?

People think alot without knowing how to be thinkers.
People know how to search but not how to research.
First is good, good is better, first and good is best.

Issue 1 presents a simple and accessible method for getting ideas that anyone can use. To prove it to you we will explore the method together and then use it to find some ideas. We will use the simple idea of a watch. A wristwatch is always right under our noses, being more creative starts with simple observations and uncommon linkages......You can take any of the ideas in this book and start a business or use them however you like.

The last section will help you analyse your ideas for business and discuss the many different qualities of ideas and how to recognise and use them.

If you have a good laugh or if you have some ideas of your own then we have achieved our mission. Don't forget to write your ideas down!

5.0 out of 5 stars Increase Your Creativity and Produce Great Ideas May 17, 2011
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
"Five Ideas to Change the World" is a book about creating your own ideas for products that will impact the future. The author also shares many of his own ideas for improving the world. He is especially fascinated by a "new economy watch" which will do an number of fancy things. His ideas are instantly compelling. First he explains how you should write your ideas down in a way that will help other people take action and so you can remember the details of your ideas. He talks about mind-mapping, a cash-less society, why he hates bluetooth headsets (he has a better idea) and why you might want to think twice about going on a yacht. Throughout there is some humor and the author asks many interesting questions to spur the reader on to greatness. This book will be especially helpful to those in a profession where constant creativity is required.

Five Ideas is a great read. After reading issue 1, I started using the techniques outlined to work with my own ideas, with great outcomes. Thought provoking, engaging and funny, you can't go wrong.
I look forward to issue 2.
