My son is 2 years old and LOVES this book! We borrowed it from the library and the first time I read it he was cracking up. This is actually unusual because normally he has to read something a few times before getting interested in it. We've been reading it every day, sometimes several times. I have fun reading and singing and he has fun listening. I'll definitely be buying this book to add to our permanent collection. I have a feeling it's going to be a favorite for years. A lot of fun!!

This book is a bit awkward to hold and read to a toddler. The book is very large and heavy and hard to balance in your lap as you read. Not ideal for bedtime reading while trying to snuggle with a little one. The illustrations are nice and it is a classic story.

great childrens book nice way to start and a good twist to the end. my children loved it and soon were able to join in the repetitive words. fabulous pictures

The Five Little Monkeys books are classics. My wife and I bought four of them and our boy and he loves them. In this edition, the five little monkeys get ready for bed. They of course decide to start jumping on the bed. They obviously don't learn as one after another falls off and bumps their heads. Sometimes I add my own words just for humor. It's good for a young child who is learning to read and the artwork is well done. I highly recommend this book.

Most people know the rhyme about monkeys jumping on the bed, right?

Boy, those monkeys never learn, do they? Love the punchline at the end, where Mama jumps on the bed :)

This book is kind of cute but it's not great. There is definitely no need for it to be a board book because it doesn't hold the attention of my infant. My 2-yr-old liked it but she was ready for page books by that time.

I bought this book for my niece who loves the song about the monkeys jumping on the bed. It sounds like she likes the book as much as she likes the song! The book is extra large so it isn't practical for taking on trips but a fun book to read at home.

This is where it all began, the first Five Little Monkeys book, and while I've never been a fan of the nursery-rhyme retelling books in this series, I have to admit this is actually my favorite of the lot, maybe because I sang this rhyme to my kid all the time when she was an infant. I'm sure you know what to expect here, and it'll fulfill your expectations grandly. You and the kids will have a ball with this one. ****

My one year old son and three year old daughter love this book. I only gave it four stars since reading it twice a day seven days a week can get a bit boring for any parent. My daugther runs around the house chanting no more monkeys jumping on the bed.
