This CD is such a wonderful musical that I enjoy singing with my son in the car. He enjoys all of the tunes and they are very refreshing after a long day of work and school. The lyrics are easy to understand and pick up. Your child will enjoy singing this music and it will keep them occupied in the car!

There are so many junk CDs available in the market, but I found this CD worthwhile purchasing. Three reasons: 1. Traditional songs included which your children don't want to miss, 2. This CD includes printed lyrics of AND suggested activities and books. 3. Children's voices in the CD seem to encourage children to sing out. Only singing songs can be boring, but as a parent I find it more meaningful to sing songs, stretch them to other activities, and extend it to the literature. I wish other record companies create the children's CD like this one.

I teach young children and I've used this CD for years. It isn't very interesting from a musical standpoint but it's good for music/movement activities and fingerplays, and children respond well to it. My students' favorites seem to be "Down on Grandpa's Farm," which is peppy to dance to and has funny animal noises, and "Five Little Frogs," which speeds up with each verse, so the last verse is super-fast - they love that. All in all, a very good CD for early childhood classes.

We borrowed this CD from our library and after renewing it numerous times, it's time to buy it. Fun songs for kids and easy on the ears for parents. Some kids singing, but most are led by adults, so there's no shouting. My 2 year old sings along to more than half of these songs already. I also like that for the most part, they are traditional renditions.
