We LOVE it and hope it busts out to the top of the charts...So fun to travel around different places and walk into a shop, restaurant, coffee house and hear the familiar sounds of Maktub...even caught one of your tunes in the backgound at the end of Season 2 of The Wire...Awesome!

Yet again, the soul/rock band from Seattle has delivered a special blend of soul, rock and beauty in the new album Five. If I had to sum it up in one word it would be Dynamic. Lows, Mids and Highs for any listner both casual and critical. If you are used to Khronos and Say What You Mean, you will be even more happy with this album. The production and mastering are excellent. Ear Candy. Rock on Maktub. by Rhythm Ripple.

Five musicians from Seattle come together and deliver once again. Maktub continue to deliver extraordinary music that defies convention in any category you might try to drop them in. Each track on Five flows seamlessly into the next and makes this CD feel like it was destined to come out this way from the first note to the last. Musical Alchemy. Maktub!
