I bought this book on sale and planned to save it for Thanksgiving. My five month old son loved it so it is one we read a lot now. This board book has five "feathers" that make that crinkle sound babies love. I didn't give it five stars because ideally it would have a better coating around the feathers to protect it a little more from all the chewing it is forced to endure.

I enjoyed this book so much that I actually wrote a song for it! The kids in my pre-k music class just love the rhymes, and it is VERY FUNNY! I highly recommend for 3-6 year olds.

This is a very cute board book. It has little shiny tail feathers sticking out that baby can grab onto while reading. A really great book for Thanksgiving.

What a sweet little counting book for Thanksgiving! The fabric tail feathers make it a "must touch" book for children.

This COULD be a great little book, as all the other reviewers have said; however, they all fail to mention the one thing that completely annoys me about this book: the author flips back and forth between past and present tense on each page! I cannot read it to my children this way. It just bothers me. So I change the present tense phrases to past tense on each page as I read, thus making it uniform throughout. I quite like it other than this one MAJOR flaw, and really wish the author and her editors would have caught this glaring error and corrected it throughout the book BEFORE it went to print.

My daughter got this and not only is it a cute story but its "fashionable", she says. Its got textures, its colorful and its durable!

I bought this for my daughter's first Thanksgiving. She loved it. The feathers are great for her to pull and chew on. This story is a cute, fun little ditty.

Well I guess for the price you'd expect that, lots of pictures not much words, I felt like I had to read her a couple of bedtime stories when I read it to make up for the lack of it in this book. I got it to get her excited about Thanksgiving..I thought she'd like the crinkly tail but she seemed disinterested in the whole book. The content didn't really seam to Thanksgivingish either. I just thought since it was recommended as a Thanksgiving children's book it would have a little more content about it....but it has more about them tanning and picnicking...summertime things to do.

I thought this book was good, the feathered page tabs entertained my daughter and she loves the story and thinks its really funny. Great for a toddler!!

Cute but not the best. My 18mth old son who LOVES books and will sit and read with me for a long time really isn't interested in this one.
